About
Waves ov Space is the alias of composer and music producer Florentin Tudor who specialises in music for film and installation art. In 2025, Erogenesis—a film by Xandra Popescu—won the Canal+ Award at the Cannes Film Festival. He composed the full score for Erogenesis, following his collaboration with Popescu on Sentimental Stories, presented at the 2023 Venice Film Festival.
In 2024, Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley premiered The Soul Station at Halle am Berghain in Berlin, a two-part multimedia exhibition exploring Black and Trans futures through immersive video game environments. The project featured a haunting and emotive score by Waves ov Space, whose sonic landscapes shaped the emotional core of the experience.
As Keiken’s primary composer, he enhances the British artist collective’s immersive digital worlds and speculative narratives. Keiken, awarded the Chanel Next Prize and the Lumen Prize BCS Award, collaborates with him on interactive installations and new media projects.
In 2022, he co-founded and co-curated CURRENTS, an avant-garde electronic music festival at E-WERK Luckenwalde near Berlin. Featuring artists like Suzanne Ciani, the festival combined experimental sound, performance, and sustainability, becoming one of the first carbon-negative events of its kind.
Waves ov Space is also one half of Khidja, an acclaimed electronic music duo with releases on respected labels such as Hivern Discs (ES) and DFA Records (NY). Known for their genre-blurring sound, Khidja has performed at major festivals including Dekmantel (NL), Waking Life (PT), and Primavera Sound (ES), and at renowned venues like Vent (Tokyo), Basement (New York) and Berghain (Berlin).
